We have been an Eco school since 2000 when we gained our first green flag. Over the past 23 years we have gained Platinum Status. We are currently in the process of renewing our flag in early 2024.
Our Eco warriors undertake a project each year alongside their everyday roles. Our past projects have included placing water hippos in all cisterns to reduce water, create a wild flower circle and to build a bug hotel, which is currently known as Buginham Palace!
This year we are tackling 2 UN Global Goals; to reduce plastic and upcycle clothes.
Everyday our Eco warriors ensure that taps and lights are turned off and the materials we recycle; paper, batteries, plastic and ink cartridges are placed in the correct containers.
