ClassDojo
The school operates a reporting and reward system called ClassDojo. It enables staff to give your child dojo points for many different reasons. Some of the key skills that points are awarded for include attendance, persistence, working hard, challenge completion and team work. It will enable you to follow what your child is doing at school. Your child’s teacher can post photographs and information on ‘class story’ and also on your child’s personal digital portfolio. It is a great place to find out about upcoming events that are particular to your child and their class, such as homework, spellings, special events. Any information that is posted on class story or digital portfolios can be seen by the teacher, pupils of that class (if they have set up a student account through the parent) and parents of children in that class. You can also keep up with the many events and information about school in general through ‘school story’. Information posted on ‘school story’ can be seen by any parent signed up to our school’s ClassDojo. There is also a messaging service which enables direct communication between you and your child’s teacher and this is private.
